MCPS employees attend staff development day sessions MCKA staff development

While MCPS students enjoyed another day off from school Monday following the district’s fall break, MCPS employees spent the day at various sites attending professional development workshops.

All of the district’s employees attended sessions on a variety of topics throughout the day including reviewing assessment data, best practices, understanding poverty, and team-building activities.

“I’m especially proud of the fact that in Marion County Public Schools, every staff member has the opportunity to learn and grow,” MCPS superintendent Taylora Schlosser said.  “This is a day of learning and improvement not only for classroom teachers, but everyone, including myself.”
