**Our SBDM Regular Scheduled Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 7, at 4:00. All public is invited.
All this week we will be discussing future careers and interests of our students. We encourage parents and guardians to talk to their children about a possible career they may want to pursue. Whether it be a fireman, NBA star, or doctor it is important that our students have their own personal goals, and are looking to the future.
Parent Teacher Conference
I would like to thank all who came for taking the time to attend parent teacher conferences. Calvary is so fortunate to have the support of such a great community.
Reading Celebration Week
Calvary will be holding our reading celebration during the week of November 13-17. We encourage all students to take part in all the fun as we will have a new theme each day.
Monday: Books make me J Emoji Day
Tuesday: Workout your brain. READ
Wednesday: I geek a good book: Nerd Day
Thursday: Dress as your Favorite Holiday to celebrate reading
Friday: Favorite Book Character
New Grading Policy
The Site Based Council of Calvary has been discussing a potential change to the grading policy. Before this decision can be made, however, we feel the community has a right to give their own opinion on the matter. Each of you can expect to receive a survey with the suggested changes. Please take a few moments to read over the proposed alterations, and return the survey with your vote.
We truly value your ideas, and want to hear from each of you. Calvary and the community are a team with the same goal, to give each child the best possible education.
