Imagination Library book program still available

Imagination Library book

It’s not too late to sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library -- a free monthly book program open to children ages birth to five years-old that are residents of Marion County.

In order to participate, parents must fill out a registration form found at the public library or the Marion County Board of Education office.  Registration can also be completed online at www.imaginationlibrary.com.

Those who have already signed up are already receiving books.

Marion County Knight Academy teacher Lisa Minor and her daughter, Kaylee, recently received their first Dolly Parton Imagination Library book.  On Facebook, Minor posted:

“Kaylee is excited about her very first book from Dolly Parton's imagination library! #MCPSreads #futurebulldog #futureknight #thanksdolly Marion County Public Schools”

In all, participants will receive 60 free books.
