Early Childhood Advisory Committee

The Early Childhood Advisory Committe met on January 19th in order to discuss Kindergarten Readiness, Parent Involvment Activities, and rescources for families.  The goal is to assist all students and families in preparing for Kindergarten.  Be looking for our new resource guide (coming soon) and Kindergarten Readiness activities.

Over The Top

Marion County will host a preschool registration on February 13th from 10:00am until 1:00 pm at Glasscock Elementary.  This will be a time to register your child, let them enjoy activities, talk with individuals about resources, and have a free dental check-up for your child.  We hope to see you there!

The following providers will be available:  Marion County Public Early Childhood, Central Kentucky Head Start, Campbellsville University, Marion County Public Library (Children's), Cornerstone To Learning and Loretto Daycare.



Professional Learning Committee

December proved to be a wonderful collaboration with our community partners.  Marion County preschool, Marion County High School Early Childhood students, Head Start, Marion County Public Library-Children's Librarian, Cornerstone to Learning, and Loretto Day Care, came together to discuss goals for our Early Childhood Registration on February 13-10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Glasscock Elementary.  Many exciting activities and resources will be available to parents who are interested in their child attending a preschool program in our community.  We all look forward to see you there.....door prizes and many give aways to students will be available!  *PLC picture is posted above.


Preschool Parent Involvement Nights


Marion County Preschool Nights are an exciting time for "all" of us to come together and see what your child is working on in preschool!  We began a new club for the district called-The Two Bite Club!  Please join us and please bring your child-as we show you our new adventures in Preschool.

West Marion Elementary Preschool Parent Meeting

West Marion parents will have their first meeting on:  November 17, 2015@ 6:00 pm in the school library.

Glasscock and Lebanon Elementary Preschool Parent Meeting
