Video Conferencing has shrunk the world around us and students as young as kindergarten have begun to take notice. Mrs. Caldwell's K-1 class at CES has connected with two classrooms, one from Ohio and another from Athens, Maine, on two separate occasions to compare and contrast weather/climate and geography of our areas of the country.
Music of Inner Asia
Johnny Nelson and Kandice Spalding are two technology stars! They collaborated to participate in an offering from the Inner Asian & Uralic National Resource Center. http://www.iub.edu/~iaunrc/ Students interacted LIVE via Videoconference with a PHD student who lived in Malaysia and brought back a wealth of knowlegde about the entire culture and onl spotlighted music for this rich educational experience.
