Jim Claypool Conservatio Art Contest
I am very proud of all of the students that submitted an entry for the Jim Claypool Conservation Art Contest. Congratulations to Staecy Martinez, Grace Raikes, and India Young whose posters were sent to compete at the district level.
Science - Third Grade
Students have their most recent graded assessments with them today. These need to be signed and returned to school tomorrow. If your child did not score well, they may retest before school on Thursday. We will be learning about changes in ecosystems during the next two weeks.
Science - Fourth Grade
Students will complete the chapter over adaptations this week and will be assessed on Thursday. Please help your child prepare for this assessment. Next week students will begin learning about Earth, earthquakes, volcanoes, and weathering.
Social Studies - Fifth Grade
We have a very busy two weeks ahead of us. Students will complete the chapter over the Thirteen Colonies and will be assessed this week. Please help your child prepare for this assessment. They will also complete a district benchmark assessment to test Social Studies concepts that have been taught this year and in previous years.
Math - Fourth Grade
We have a very busy two weeks ahead of us. Students will continue working with measurement conversions this week. They will complete a benchmark assessment next week to test skills that have been taught this year. This week students also have the opportunity to retest over any skills they have not mastered. Students need to come to the resource room before school to complete retests. Please make sure your child is completing their math homework.
