I was born and raised in Kettle Island, KY which is an old mining camp in Bell County. I went to Bell County High School and from there I received a baseball scholarship to Campbellsville University. I received my Masters degree in Instructional Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University in 2003 and I obtained national certification in Physical Education - Young Adolescent/ Early Adulthood in 2010. I began teaching at St. Charles in 2001 and I have been here since. My wife and I have resided in Marion County since 2006. We have a son who will soon be two years old.
Outside of teaching, my interests are running, basketball, fourwheeling, whitewater rafting, and most importantly spending time with my family.
