My name is Ida Spalding. I am married to Darin Spalding and we have two boys, Brady and Noah. I have just started my nineteenth year at Lebanon Elementary School. Before that, I taught Adult Education for four years and substitute taught in the Marion County School System for four years. As you can see, I have had a wide range of teaching experiences. I have taught a K-1 class, first grade class and Kindergarten during my time at LES. This year, I am fortunate to have a K-1 class.
I look forward to working closely with the students, parents, guardians and families to create a successful learning environment and school experience.
I am also fortunate to have a teacher assistant, Mrs. Jessica Bagwell to work with us in our classroom. This is her fifth year with us at LES. She helps keep things running smoothly and organized in our classroom and also works with groups of students to ensure their academic success.
I hope we can all work together this year for the success of the students. I truly feel the cooperation of all of us will be most beneficial for the students!
