Congratulations MCHS! Mr. Stiles' science classes are busy completing Speed and Distance science labs. Students in Mrs.Costisick's class are hard at work on their chromebooks. Mrs. Elaine Rahn from MCPL teams up with Amy Mattingly's English Classes MCHS Students gather together to show their college team spirit. Students and staff dress in college colors to show support for their favorite colleges. Chamber of Commerce Hosts their luncheon in the MCHS library. KISS preforms for the students at MCHS during the ACT Pep Rally! Marion County FFA members are presented awards at the annual FFA Awards banquet.

MCPS I2-Innovation Institute Call for Presenters

Marion County Public Schools is hosting an in-house technology conference for all certified teachers on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. As we move forward with our 1:1 technology initiative and 21st century learning, we understand and value professional development and training. If you are interested in presenting either an instructional strategy using technology or a lesson on the 4 Cs (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration & Communication), click here to fill out our call for presenters form. A notification of selection for presenting will be sent by December 20, 2016.

MCHS Marching Knights Results

The Marion County High School Marching Knights finished in fifth place overall at the Kentucky Music Educators Association Class AAA East Regional Quarterfinals on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Bourbon County High School.  The band will now compete as one of 16 Class AAA semi-finalists in the KMEA State Marching Band Championship on October 29 at Eastern High School in Middletown.  Good luck band!

Our students can win up to $30,000!

Representatives from our local VFW post have contacted our offices about an exciting scholarship opportunity for middle and high school students. Check it out at http://www.vfw.org/community/youth-and-education/youth-scholarships?cookieCheck=true. Our local post wants to be involved and work to find some winners from Marion County! 2015-16 KPREP Testing Results

Marion County Public Schools has been named a Distinguished and Progressing District based on 2015-16 state assessment data. The release of 2015-16 Unbridled Learning results on Thursday, September 29, 2016, also identified several district schools for their exemplary performance on the most recent round of state assessments.
