Free and Reduced Lunch Applications for the 2014-15 school year can now be filled out by clicking here. Applications can be returned to your school, the Marion County Board of Education, or mailed in to:

Senior registration - Tuesday, July 29    4:00pm – 6:30pm
Junior registration - Wednesday, July 30    4:00pm – 6:30pm
Sophomore registration - Thursday, July 31   4:00pm – 6:30pm
Freshman registration - Friday, August 1    4:00pm – 6:30pm
Make up day will be Monday, August 4 from 8am – 4pm

Schedule changes will be made on the registration dates and also up to the first day of class.  No changes after August 6, 2014.  This is first day of school for students!!

Registration Fees

Registration Fees 
Pending on your student(s) lunch status.  If your child receives:
Free lunch - registration fee will be $10
Reduced lunch – registration fee will be $20
Full paid lunch – registration fee will be $40
***This is fee will not go into your child’s lunch account***

*Note fees must be paid at the time of registration your student(s).

*Multiple siblings discount is also available (each additional sibling will pay half price)

Parking tag - $25.00 full year 
(Student must have driver license at the time of purchasing a parking permit)

Freshman Jump Start

MCHS will welcome the Class of 2018 with Freshman JumpStart on August 1, 2014 at 8:30am until 1:30pm!  All incoming freshman should plan to attend to learn everything you need to know to get ready for high school!  Parents will not need to attend JumpStart.  Registration will follow JumpStart beginning at 1:30pm – 5:30pm.  Parents will need to attend registration. 

Professional Development Summer Dates

As we complete the 2013-14 school year and plan for the 2014-15 school year, we wanted to communicate any district-planned professional development dates for your planning purposes. Due to a recent change in the professional development law, the board policy 03.19 AP.1 was amended as well. Please click read more for additional information.

2014 Summer Feeding Program

Marion County Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Click here for a list of sites and times where meals will be served.
