Marion County Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. A few things to keep in mind so the ceremonies are pleasant and enriching for all who attend:  Refrain from shout-outs as they often embarrass students and can cause the next family to not hear their child being recognized; be respectful of others when taking pictures; remember we are a tobacco free district meaning no use of tobacco in any form while on campuses; reserve constructive criticisms for another time as the focus of the event should not be marred by monopolizing an administrator while they try and visit with all in attendance; keep side conversations to areas outside of the event so those around you can hear their child being called up for their recognition. These few tips make events more pleasant for everyone and assure the focus stays on the students.
