Congratulations MCHS! Mr. Stiles' science classes are busy completing Speed and Distance science labs. Students in Mrs.Costisick's class are hard at work on their chromebooks. Mrs. Elaine Rahn from MCPL teams up with Amy Mattingly's English Classes MCHS Students gather together to show their college team spirit. Students and staff dress in college colors to show support for their favorite colleges. Chamber of Commerce Hosts their luncheon in the MCHS library. KISS preforms for the students at MCHS during the ACT Pep Rally! Marion County FFA members are presented awards at the annual FFA Awards banquet.

2015-16 KPREP Testing Results

Marion County Public Schools has been named a Distinguished and Progressing District based on 2015-16 state assessment data. The release of 2015-16 Unbridled Learning results on Thursday, September 29, 2016, also identified several district schools for their exemplary performance on the most recent round of state assessments.

  • Calvary Elementary: Distinguished
  • Glasscock Elementary: Proficient, Progressing 
  • Lebanon Elementary: Proficient, Progressing 
  • West Marion Elementary: Distinguished, Progressing, School of Distinction
  • Lebanon Middle: Needs Improvement, Progressing

Govenor's Scholar Program

All Juniors Interested in applying for the Govenor's Scholar Program, must either take the ACT or the PSAT in order to qualify. Deadline for ACT is September 16th. Deadline for the PSAT is October 14th. Sign in sheet for PSAT is outside Ms. Veronica Brown's door. See Ms.Brown for more information.
