Calvary students lead their families in learning about the Leader in me, set goals, and light lanterns. Calvary students lead their families in learning about the Leader in me, perform, set goals, and light lanterns. Students in Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten researched about engineering new parts for machines and created new ways for machines to do a task. They had to experiment with their creations. Students in Mrs. Dougherty's class collaborate with students in Taylor county to give feedback on constructed responses using G-Suite. 5th grade students visit our Capital ---Frankfort Calvary Students honored at a banquet because they won the Jim Claypool Conservation Art poster contest. Students in morning Book Clubs draw visualizations for the book they have been reading. Some are using technology to help. Calvary Students dance and play dulcimers for their peers at the Farmers Bank Bluegrass in Schools Program as part of the local Bluegrass Festival. Students perform dances and play dulcimers for the public at the community Bluegrass Festival. Students having fun at Calvary Elementary's Winterfest Fundraiser. Students participating in the drama North Pole Star. CES Arts and Humanities Club Students showing their acting skills in the North Pole Star. They wrote their skits. Calvary students in Mrs. May and Mrs. Dougherty's Classes vist Lindsey Wilson College - Nov. 11, 2016 Calvary students watch a video they created with their Music teacher Kandice Spalding in honor of all the Veterans in our lives. CES - Veterans come to speak to us during morning meeting and to watch a video our kids made in honor of them. CES - a distinguished school!

Dream Bus summer schedule will begin on Tuesday May 30, 2017 and end on Friday July 21, 2017.  The Week of July 3rd through July 7th the Dream Bus will not run.

Join Mrs. Dickerson and Mrs. Keeling for a week of making art and fun movement activities. On Friday we will be going on a field trip to HOUSE OF BOOM! Students That will be in 1st-5th during the 2017-2018 school year may sign up. There will be a 50 max amount of students that may sign up. This camp will cost 16.00. You must register online using the link below and send money in to office in order to be registred to attend. First come first serve.

New Kindergarten Enrollment Requirement

Birth Date Cutoff for Kindergarten Enrollment Moved to August 1

As a result of House Bill 235, the birthday cutoff for entrance to kindergarten will change from October 1 to August 1 beginning the 2017-2018 school year.  This will require incoming kindergarten students to turn 5 on or before August 1. 

Parents/guardians whose children do not meet the age requirements may inquire about the early entrance petition process by contacting the Marion County Board of Education at 270-692-3721.  The deadline for submitting a petition for the 2017-2018 school year is June 15, 2017.

This jumpstart is for incoming Kindergarten and 1st graders.

Join Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Keeling for a fun 3 day camp to introduce Kindergarten to procedures and fun activities. 1st graders can make friends and help out the Kindergarten students and have fun getting back in to the habit of coming to school.
