March 1st - Class and Spring Pictures

On March 1st - Lifetouch will be here to take class pictures (Prepaid) and Spring Individual Pictures.

March 30th- K-PREP Celebration

March 30th we will celebrate student success from our last KPREP test by hosting a celebration and recogniztion of all the hard work students put forth last year.

April 3rd-7th -Spring Break

Spring Break will be April 3rd - 7th. Monday and Tuesday are possible makeup days. 

New Kindergarten Enrollment Requirement

Birth Date Cutoff for Kindergarten Enrollment Moved to August 1

As a result of House Bill 235, the birthday cutoff for entrance to kindergarten will change from October 1 to August 1 beginning the 2017-2018 school year.  This will require incoming kindergarten students to turn 5 on or before August 1. 

Parents/guardians whose children do not meet the age requirements may inquire about the early entrance petition process by contacting the Marion County Board of Education at 270-692-3721.  The deadline for submitting a petition for the 2017-2018 school year is June 15, 2017.
