Excitement filled the air at Glasscock Elementary School as our GES Bulldogs finally got to experience something they had been eagerly anticipating, a brand-new playground!
Both the preschool and K–5 playgrounds received a complete makeover, including brand-new surfaces and exciting new equipment. For our students, it truly feels like a dream come true! The smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm have made it clear just how special this new addition is to our school.
Glasscock Elementary has been fortunate to receive many new additions and updates over the years, but none seem to have generated quite the excitement we have seen from our students with the new playground. It has quickly become a favorite place for our Bulldogs to play, explore, build friendships, and simply enjoy being kids.
A huge thank you to Marion County Public Schools and the MCPS Board of Education for recognizing the need for updated playgrounds and working to make this project happen in such a short amount of time. Your commitment to providing our students with safe, engaging, and inviting spaces to learn and play is truly appreciated.
We are so excited to see our Bulldogs enjoying their new playgrounds and we look forward to many years of play, laughter, and unforgettable memories at Glasscock Elementary!
