ROCK PAINTING!  The Paisley Peacock has invited the community to paint rocks to display in a community rock garden along the building to the old courthouse.  If you would like to participate, you can bring your rocks to GES and give to Mrs. Cummins.  Someone from the Paisley Peacock will collect these on May 3, 4 & 5.  You can leave your rocks on display all summer or you can go visit the site and find your rock to take home after May 7.

ALL 5th Graders are invited to draw, paint or use other art medium to create a picture on 9x11 paper for the theme:  BIG FOOT ENJOYS SUMMER!  Give completed artwork to Mrs. Cummins and someone from the Paisley Peacock will pick them up on May 3, 4 & 5.  These pieces of art will be displayed downtown and can be picked up after May 7.  Big Foot can be swimming, reading, playing at the park, on the computer, or anything you would have him do this summer.  Make sure your name is on the artwork.
