Marion County High School baseball coach Patrick Campbell is looking for former MCHS baseball players who’d like to dust off their cleats.
Campbell is organizing an MCHS baseball alumni game set for September 23 at Dave Hourigan Field on the campus of Marion County High School. The deadline to sign up is September 16.
Depending on the number of players who register, Campbell said he plans to divide teams based on year of graduation with even-numbered years squaring off against those who graduated in odd-numbered years.
The event will also include a homerun derby, with a shortened fence, which will take place prior to the alumni game. Campbell said he expects the winning total to be somewhere in the low double-digits.
