We did it! We made it to March! I read something the other day that said Mother Nature was throwing out temperatures like Power Ball Numbers - 66 40 33 58 24. haha That was definitely us these last few weeks!

On Monday, March 1st, Group A students will be in person. Group B students and distance learning students will be virtual.
On Tuesday, March 2nd, Group B students will be in person. Group A students and distance learning students will be virtual.

Announcements from the Classroom
Reading with Mrs. Vance - We will continue reading the book, "Holes", next week.

6th grade ELA (both houses) - This week we finished text features and are moving on to text structures (how an author organizes a text). We completed notes on Friday 2-26. Next week students will practice each of the 5 different types of text structures while learning all about sharks. On Monday we will be using Jerry Palotta's "Who Would Win" book to compare/contrast whales and sharks. On Tuesday at 1:00 students will participate in an author visit with Jerry Palotta himself. We are super excited about this opportunity!

Camelot Science with Mrs. Wood - We are beginning a new unit on chemical reactions.

Reading with Mrs. Wood - We will be reading chapter 13 of "The Dead and the Gone" on Monday of next week.

Seventh grade science (both houses) - We are continuing to work on our kinetic and potential energy playlist!
