A record nine students from Marion County High School have been selected to attend the prestigious Governor's Scholars Program, a five-week summer residential experience intended to provide academic and personal growth.
Those selected include: Will Blake, Jaxon Hibbard, Grace Mattingly, Miranda Buckler, Karly Spalding, Emily Mattingly, Saya Kato, Jacklyn Farmer, and Gracyn Mattingly.
The students, all current juniors, were selected following a rigorous and competitive application process. Students will attend GSP at one of three college campuses: Centre College, Morehead St. University, or Murray St. University.
