The MCPS Student Ambassadors have announced the winners of this year's Teacher of the Year awards.

West Marion Elementary teacher Sarah Hutchins was named the elementary division Teacher of the Year and Marion County Middle School teacher Carrie Thompson was named the secondary division Teacher of the Year.

Members of the MCPS Student Ambassadors made surprise visits to both teachers to present them with their trophies. You can view the trophy presentation below:
