West Marion Elementary fourth-grader Gavin DeSpain recently received first place in his age group in the 2022 Kentucky Pollinator Stakeholders Art Contest sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.
DeSpain received $100 for his winning entry titled "Bees in the Garden."
