Tomorrow, Monday, February 9, Marion County schools will operate on a one-hour delay. Also, our school buses will be using our Plan B bus routes which you can view at the following link: https://aptg.co/h3ncnt. Please add one hour to the listed pick-up times. We understand there are still some areas of the county where travel may be problematic. For those who transport their children, please use your best judgment if you encounter difficult road conditions and give yourself additional travel time if possible. If you are unable to transport your child to a bus stop or to school, please reach out to the school to discuss the matter with an administrator.

If you have a child who will enroll in kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year and you are unable to make it to today’s kindergarten registration (9:00 am - 6:00 pm at each of our elementary schools), please reach out directly to your child’s school to schedule a time to complete registration.

Our hope was to have in-person learning tomorrow, even if it came with a delayed start to the school day. And while many areas in the county are clear and safe to travel, after driving roads this afternoon district officials felt there are still too many problematic areas to safely have students attend in person.
