Next week, we will begin KSA testing for all third, fourth , and fifth graders. Please make sure students arrive on time to school each day, and please try to avoid appointments during the next two weeks. Students will have to makeup any test sessions that are missed.

Marion County Public Schools will hold kindergarten registration Friday, January 31 from 9:00-4:00 at each of the district’s four elementary schools.
Parents of children who plan to enroll in MCPS kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year are asked to bring their child to the registration event along with their child’s birth certificate, immunization records, physical exam, dental exam, eye exam and proof of residency (for example, a utility bill).
No appointment is necessary.
Kindergarten is open for children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2025. Call your child's school for more information.
The school-wide assembly, Coastal Wilds, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 14th. Permission slips have been sent home and must be returned in order to students to attend. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
A local business has graciously donated a gift for all LES students. Students will receive these gifts during the school day tomorrow. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
