It’s our last week of school!! The last day of school for students is this Wednesday. We will miss our 7th graders!
Announcements from the Office
There are still a few spots for Robotics or Electric Circuit Camp. Students will program EV3 Mindstorms Robots, or they will work with Snap Circuit kits to create alarms, count down launchers and many other projects. Dates are June 1-3 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Contact Cheryl May at cheryl.may@marion.kyschools.us or call (270) 692-4578 to register.
Students have been given library notices of missing books or fines. Please take care of this by Monday.
Final report cards will be send home on Wednesday with students.
Announcements from the Classroom
Wright ELA6 Camelot - Student have completed the ELA final and grades have been posted. If a student does not like his/her yearly grade, they have until the end of the day Monday to complete and turn in any missing assignments. We will finish the year with a read-aloud play version of The Giver. Students will see what it would be like to live in a futuristic society where life choices are chosen for you - who your family is, what you eat, where you live, who you marry, your career. Hopefully, students will leave with a newfound appreciation of the life they live and choices they are free to make on a daily.
Science with Mrs. Wood - Students who do not complete the Final on Friday may take it on Monday May 24th.
Reading with Mrs. Wood - Students will finish the Novel "Fever" by Laurie Halse Anderson.
6th grade Math - Final exam on Monday and Tuesday!
7th grade math - Finals on Monday!
