Reminder: We're distributing meals for our Distance-Learning students today (Wednesday, March 17) from noon-2:00 at the Marion County Fairgrounds.
For those families with students enrolled in Distance-Learning, we'll be distributing student meals this Wednesday from noon until 2:00 pm at the MC fairgrounds.
Don't forget: Tomorrow, Friday, March 12 is a Staff Development Day in MCPS. There is NO SCHOOL for students.

Student meal distribution for Distance-Learners will be tomorrow, March 10 from noon-2:00 pm at the MC fairgrounds.
With our schools open to full In-Person learning, our weekly student meal distribution will now be available only for students who are choosing to remain enrolled in Distance-Learning. Meal pick-up will be Wednesday from noon until 2:00 at the Marion County Fairgrounds.

Reminders for Tuesday, March 2 -- All students in K-5th grade will be in-person; preschool students and 6th-9th graders will have a Hybrid ‘B’ day; 11th and 12th graders with have an NTI day; all 10th graders will take the ACT test in-person at the high school
Monday, March 1 is a DISTANCE-LEARNING DAY for all students in Marion County Public Schools due to flooding and hazardous road conditions.
Marion County Public Schools will operate on a 1-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, March 1 due to flooding throughout the county. We will continue to monitor the situation. In the event that additional changes are made for tomorrow, families and will be notified as soon as possible.
Reminder: Parents who plan to enroll their children in kindergarten for the 2021-22 school year should complete the Kindergarten Pre-Registration form. Parents will then be contacted to schedule times to complete registration and screening.

We know things can become confusing when there are changes to our weekly schedule. That's why we want to remind parents that whether your child's school is fully in-person or on a hybrid schedule, you have the option to move to full Distance-Learning at any time (just notify your child's school). If your child is enrolled in Distance-Learning, you can transition back to In-Person learning at our scheduled re-entry dates. Our next re-entry date is Monday, March 22.
