We want to give a huge Thank You to the road department crews who have done such an incredible job making sure the roadways throughout the county were safe for travel!
We also want to thank our families for their patience today as we used our Plan B bus routes. While not all bus riders are affected, these alternate routes allow our drivers to avoid some potentially unsafe areas -- especially turnaround spots that might be especially tricky.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14, our Transportation department will return to the normal bus routes. However, there could be a few stops that are still difficult to manage. Families will be contacted directly by someone from our Transportation department if there are any adjustments to pick-up or drop-off locations.

Schools in Marion County will operate on a one-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, January 13. The district’s transportation department will be using the Plan B bus routes. You can access the Plan B routes document by following this link: https://5il.co/l9by

Due to a bus driver shortage, MCPS will be cancelling two routes tomorrow morning (12-13-24): Bus 153 and Bus 202.
If possible, we’re asking affected families to find alternate transportation for tomorrow morning. However, if families are unable to transport students to school, please contact the MCPS bus garage at (270) 692-4150 in the morning and a bus will be sent to transport students after completing its normal route. These students will not be counted as tardy.
At this time, we expect all bus routes to be covered tomorrow afternoon.
