MCHS Graduation Update:
The MCHS graduation has been moved inside to the school’s gymnasium. Graduation will still take place at 1:00 pm. Please note that anyone attending graduation must have a graduation ticket. This includes children of any age.

Thank you to everyone for your patience. Our hope was always to have graduation outdoors so that we could accommodate all guests. However, today’s weather simply didn’t allow that to happen.

MCHS Graduation Update:
Because of current weather conditions, the MCHS graduation has been postponed until 1:00 pm. Graduation will still take place on MCHS football field. Guests are encouraged to wear flat-soled shoes given the damp conditions.

Important Information Regarding MCHS Graduation:

Our sincere hope and ultimate goal is to have our graduation ceremony on the football field at 11:00 am, as planned.

However, if that is not possible due to weather, our first option will be to delay the start of graduation. We’ll share any information about changes through our messaging system using text, email, and phone calls. We’ll also share any updates to the MCHS and MCPS Facebook pages.

If it appears that graduation can’t begin by 1:00 pm on the football field, we’ll move the ceremony indoors to the high school gymnasium. Please be aware, if the graduation is moved inside, tickets will be REQUIRED to enter the building. Everyone, including children of any age, must have a ticket to enter the doors. Please ensure you have the 10 graduation tickets that were given to your Senior last week.

We know having graduation ceremonies outside has been extremely popular among our families the past several years, so let’s keep our fingers crossed we are able to do so again tomorrow.

Good Evening Schools to Work students and families. This is a reminder that ALL Schools to Work documentation is due to Mr. Vanwhy, tomorrow, Wednesday 5/20. This includes any missing time sheets as well as the Employee and Employer evaluation forms. Seniors may be removed from Graduation practice and activities to complete this if they have not done so. This documentation is also needed for several students to receive their Black Success Ready cord at Graduation. Please see Mr. Vanwhy and get these things turned in. If you need a form, see or email Mr. Vanwhy. Thanks!
