Congratulations to MCPS Instructional Supervisor Dana Thomas on receiving the Educator of the Year award at last night's chamber of commerce awards banquet! Dana has been a classroom teacher (with National Board certification) and an instructional coach in MCPS before moving into her current role as Instructional Supervisor. Additionally, she's been involved with state-wide initiatives and organizations to improve public education. Congratulations again on a well-deserved honor!


Kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year will be Friday, March 10 from 8:30-3:30 at each of our elementary schools.

Due to increasingly dangerous road conditions, there will be no school in Marion County Public Schools tomorrow, Friday, February 17. We have been informed there are damaged roads with debris in the county. This will not be an NTI day.

Students at Lebanon Elementary held a book signing ceremony today. The 1st and 2nd graders in Ms. Gootee's class researched, wrote, and published a book about animals. Today they gave a group presentation to parents and signed copies of their book, "Animals Around the World."
